How to prepare the client/patient?

To ensure a smooth referral appointment, please advise your client of the following:

• The pet should be fasted for at least 12 hours if abdominal ultrasound or endoscopy is planned.
• Bring all previous medical records, lab results, and imaging studies.
• Continue all current medications unless otherwise instructed.
• Inform the client about the estimated duration of the appointment and potential procedures.

If sedation or anaesthesia may be required, please ensure the client is aware and has given consent for the procedures.
